Welcome back to the NSG Indie Game Roundup, our monthly series featuring indie games news, plus game demo and new release discussions.

September turned out to be a sleeper powerhouse of a month, bringing us multiple highly anticipated indie game releases. In less than four weeks, we got both Silksong and Hades 2 dropping, not to mention titles like Baby Steps, Henry Halfhead and Cloverpit. If that wasn’t enough, we also got a heaping serving of indie game announcements in the Six One Indie Showcase. It’s been a wild ride and we’re still processing all the awesomeness in this episode!

Also, huge thanks to our first Patreon supporters! In addition to other fun perks, members on Patreon get early access to all of the Indie Game Roundup episodes. No Small Games is an indie game recap and review podcast brought to you by hosts Kate and Emily! They became friends while streaming on Twitch and bonded over their love of indie video games. In each episode of No Small Games, the two will discuss an indie game they both played independently. They’ll compare their experiences: the good, the bad, their most memorable moments of their playthroughs.

In this installment, you’ll hear their roundup of indie game news from September 2025, plus new releases and demos that they played recently.
